Sewing Machine Covers... from May Your Bobbin Always Be Full


I spent the day with friends creating

Sewing Machine Covers 


We were all gifted a pack of charm squares...

my charm squares are:

Stitched by Fig Tree Quilts for Moda Fabrics






I lined my cover with 

Pellon Fusible Flex Foam

to help it keep its shape...




It is FUN stitching through this foam !





Of course.....I had to make more than one !





This charm pack is

Home on the Range by Deb Strain





Machine quilting is done...

time to stitch the cover together.





The flex foam helps it stand up at attention !





I am taking this one home to use ...

First Ingredient:  Home Dec Fabrics




Second Ingredient:  Peltex Fusible Stabilizer





Cut your Peltex into any house shape you like...





Begin fusing on your fabrics...





One house won't be enough...





You will need to make more !





Add embellishments...

Wonky Coasters....Play Day from May Your Bobbin Always Be Full



I invited my Art Sisters over for a

Day of Play...


We are creating......Wonky Coasters





Art Sisters.....Playing with Felt






1mm felt is cut for the next 2 layers 

of the coaster

Three layers of felt to create each coaster.




I made my own templates from manila folders.

Each template shape comes in 

several different sizes.





A glue stick can be used to secure the three 

layers of felt shapes to hold them together until 

you get your stitching completed.

Stitch Cards... from May Your Bobbin Always Be Full


A Day of Play with...

Stitch Cards


Fabric Stitch Cards





FUN with Fabric and Paper





Note Cards with Envelopes



The folded note cards measure 5 x 5 inches:


I placed a 5 inch charm square on top of the 

unfolded note card,

then placed a smaller square of fabric on top.

I stitched a half circle shape using 

black thread,

then trimmed the excess fabric.




I stitched 5 flower petals 

onto the charm square...





Then trimmed away the excess fabric...










Then added additional stitching to the flower...





Fabric Stitch Card......done !





Scribble Stitching is....FUN !
